Unraveling Majed Faraj’s Enigma: The Perilous Challenge to Gaza’s Resistance
Watan-Since yesterday, Sunday, questions and analyses have been circulating regarding the reported attempt of a suspicious security force affiliated with the Palestinian Authority and its intelligence director Majed Faraj to infiltrate Gaza Strip in coordination with the occupation under the guise of securing aid trucks entering from the Rafah crossing and under the supervision of the Egyptian Red Crescent.
A Gaza Interior Ministry official announced the arrest of 6 members of the suspicious force’s leadership, with more arrests underway, while the Egyptian side informed the crossing authority that they had no knowledge of the force that received the Egyptian trucks.
Parties collaborating with the occupation to eliminate resistance
In analyses of this dangerous event, which reveals the true intentions of the authority behind it, some consider these rapid developments as evidence of several parties working together and fully cooperating in the war on Gaza.
They point out that while the Zionist occupation appears to be the sole actor in its military aggression against Palestinians, there are internal, regional, and international actors sharing the goal of eliminating resistance and creating a new reality in Gaza.
Despite Egypt’s denial of any connection to this force, activists remain skeptical, affirming that facilitating the entry of the security force through Egypt signals serious consequences and raises questions about Egypt’s role in the future, which should only be that of a mediator.

A suspicious Egyptian role
In this context, Egyptian opposition journalist Osama Gawish commented: “So, a security force led by Majed Faraj of the Palestinian Authority just passes through the crossing and security measures like that? Do you think this security force paid Hajj Ibrahim Al-Arajani to enter Gaza?”
Palestinian writer Yasser Al-Za’atara considered that the intelligence director, aspiring to replace Abbas, is presenting his credentials to Washington by sending some of his officers under the pretext of aid to northern Gaza.
Al-Za’atara pointed out that aid does not require such clandestine operations. As for those awaiting the defeat of the resistance and aspiring to incorporate the sector into their catastrophic path, they deserve nothing but contempt, he said.
Majed Faraj competes with Dahlan
The Palestinian writer went on to analyze that Majed Faraj coordinated this operation with Mahmoud Abbas, president of the Palestinian Authority.
He said: “He didn’t do that behind his master’s back (most likely), but if so, the Americans are setting the scene completely on the basis of Abbas’s absence, even if they are dealing with him at present (welcoming his new government), and Majed Faraj is racing with Dahlan to win ‘the bid’!”
Al-Za’atara continued his criticism of the Palestinian Authority, saying: “Our people’s history has never known leaders at such a level of national decline. They are products of ‘Oslo’ in its ‘Abbasite’ edition, and the tragedy is that ‘Fatah’ provides them with cover publicly, even though they disagree with them privately.”

An attempt to test the security scene in Gaza
Palestinian activist Ali Abu Rizk analyzed this dangerous development as an attempt to penetrate Gaza through a suspicious security force affiliated with the authority, which is a test of the security scene in the sector and the continuity of resistance control.
He pointed out that the formation of this force under the leadership of Majed Faraj came after the failure of the tribal committee to manage the scene following the incident viewed from the perspective of the dangerous experience of the “Iraqi Awakening”.
According to Abu Rizk, this force entered after the massacre committed by the occupation forces against the Emergency Committees in the Gaza Strip, explaining, “They arrived on the bodies of their people and the blood of their cousins, not on the back of tanks but through a river of blood.”
He added that this operation also “came after the security blow received by the resistance at Al-Shifa Hospital, thinking that the scene was complete, ignoring the fact that four brigades of the resistance, especially Al-Qassam, are still operating efficiently and forcefully, with their members being killed by occupation soldiers every day.”
It is worth noting that the entry of this suspicious force into Gaza comes two days after news of American approval for the entry of an Arab force to manage the scene in the besieged sector, which the resistance forces said they would treat as a Gazan occupation force.
The Palestinian activist considered this the second and most dangerous test for Palestinian resistance after the test of tribes and families, which they managed and emerged from with wisdom and foresight despite the danger, darkness, complexity, and entanglements of the scene.
