Watan-The Emirati flies have started campaigns of demonization and threats against Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboune, following his recent statements in which he criticized an Arab country, understood to be Abu Dhabi.
Algerian President Abdelmajid Tebboune had sent clear signals to the United Arab Emirates without explicitly naming it, accusing it of igniting what he described as “the fire of discord” in Algeria’s vicinity.
Tebboune’s statements came at a time when the Emirati regime, under the direct supervision of the state’s president, Mohammed bin Zayed, supports several sabotage schemes in the region.
Threats to spread chaos in Algeria
In response to Tebboune’s controversial statements, Emirati writer Mahmoud Al Balushi posted a picture of the Algerian president with a caption quoting part of his statements, specifically saying, “Algeria will not kneel.”

Al Balushi commented with a clear and explicit threat to Tebboune: “You will indeed kneel, Tebboune, and the days are between us… You should take heed, for we have crushed the Houthis and the Brotherhood in Yemen, and the Forces of Freedom and Change in Sudan; and your words about the UAE will cost you dearly in Algeria.”
This threatening message carried a clear Emirati acknowledgment of Abu Dhabi’s responsibility for sowing chaos, particularly in several countries like Libya, Sudan, and Yemen. All these countries witness Emirati malevolent influence causing chaos.
What did Tebboune hint about the UAE?
It’s noted that Tebboune’s statements came in response to a question posed to him during a meeting with Algerian media about a meeting of the Supreme Security Council, during which a message was sent to a “brotherly Arab country” to cease “hostile acts.”
Tebboune accused the Arab country of igniting the flames of discord in Algeria’s vicinity and surroundings, saying: “Wherever there is constant conflict, this country’s money is present. In the neighborhood, Mali, Libya, and Sudan. We don’t harbor enmity towards anyone, because we rely on God Almighty and the Algerians. We wish to live peacefully with everyone, and whoever provokes us, our patience has its limits.”
He added, “We haven’t resorted to violent words with these people yet. We consider them brothers and seek guidance for them because their actions are illogical. It seems to me that they have been blinded by pride.”
He continued, “They say, ‘How come they (Algerians) haven’t surrendered?’ Algeria will not kneel. Let them learn from the great nations that respect us a lot, and we respect them, and our decision is respected by them. If you want to impose your actions on others onto us, you are greatly mistaken. We are 5 million and 630 thousand martyrs who died for this country, and we can approach if you wish.”
It’s worth mentioning that last January, the Supreme Security Council held a session chaired by President Abdelmajid Tebboune, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. At that time, the general situation in the country and the security situation related to neighboring and coastal countries were discussed.
The Supreme Security Council expressed its regret for “the hostile acts recorded against Algeria, by a brotherly Arab country,” according to a statement released by the Algerian presidency, and Tebboune had not previously publicly stated that the matter pertained to the United Arab Emirates.
