Ismail al-Thawabteh, the director of the Gaza Government Media Office, stated in a press conference that Israel targeted a foreign relief team in Gaza composed of individuals from British, Polish, and Australian nationalities, in addition to a Palestinian driver.
Targeting a car belonging to the World Central Kitchen organization
The Israeli military targeted a car belonging to the World Central Kitchen organization (an international charity), resulting in the deaths of several people, including foreigners.
The foreign casualties were taken to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city, including a woman among them.
The four casualties, of Polish, Australian, Irish, and British nationalities, were affiliated with the World Central Kitchen organization.
Simultaneously, a number of Palestinians were killed and injured as Israeli warplanes targeted a mosque in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Targeting mosques in Gaza
The Israeli occupation destroyed 224 mosques entirely in the Gaza Strip and targeted the al-Bashir Mosque in the Hikr area of Deir al-Balah, resulting in casualties.
Medical teams and civil defense crews transferred martyrs and injured individuals to the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in the city.
Targeting mosques is a common practice by the Israeli occupation in the ongoing war on Gaza since October 7.
Earlier, the Government Media Office revealed that Israel had destroyed 224 mosques entirely and 290 partially during the war on the Gaza Strip.
