Watan-Protests are escalating around the Israeli embassy in the Jordanian capital, Amman, turning the country’s Friday of Anger into a significant spark, drawing large crowds that overflow the Kalouni Square, according to circulated video clips on social media platforms.
Jordanians continue their daily mass movement near the Israeli embassy headquarters in the Rabia area of Amman.
As the crowds swell and persist, voices rise on Sky News and Al Arabiya and echo across online platforms. Jordan stands and will always stand with resistance and against Zionism targeting its existence. To remind, the gathering is solely against the enemy’s embassy. Anyone considering themselves Zionist will face opposition, feeling the pressure.

Protesters express their rejection and anger at the heinous crimes committed by the Israeli occupation against civilians in Gaza since October 7, amidst a humanitarian catastrophe. They demand cutting ties and halting support for Zionists in all diplomatic and economic forms.
Protests haven’t been without clashes between Jordanian security forces and demonstrators near the embassy.
Security forces have arrested dozens of peaceful protesters in solidarity with Gaza. Meanwhile, demonstrators call on the government to end its relations with the Israeli side and cease all forms of normalization between Amman and Tel Aviv.

Wide praise for the peaceful movement
The peaceful movement has received wide praise, including from prominent journalist Yasser Abu Hilaleh, who tweeted: “As the crowds swell and persist, voices rise on Sky News and Al Arabiya and echo across online platforms.” He added: “Jordan stands and will always stand with resistance and against Zionism targeting its existence. To remind, the gathering is solely against the enemy’s embassy. Anyone considering themselves Zionist will face opposition, feeling the pressure.”
“I have never seen such crowds surrounding the embassy of occupation in my life… Jordanians continue to flock and fill the streets around the embassy,” shared Rida Yassin along with a video clip showing massive crowds chanting loudly in support of Gaza.
