Watan-Israeli Minister of Transportation, Miri Regev, alleged that there are protesters who want to assassinate Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
This comes amidst escalating protests demanding Netanyahu’s resignation and early elections.
Israeli Channel 12 quoted Minister Miri Regev, who belongs to the right-wing Likud party, as saying that the violent protests cannot continue.
Regev urged law enforcement agencies, courts, and the Shin Bet security agency to continue detaining protesters, not to release them, and to investigate them to prevent the assassination of the prime minister, according to her claims.
