Watan-Israeli media sources revealed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu moved during the weekend holiday to a villa owned by an American billionaire in Jerusalem, as it contains an advanced shelter against missiles, ahead of a possible attack from Iran in response to the bombing that resulted in the destruction of the Iranian consulate building in the Syrian capital Damascus on Monday afternoon, the first of April.

Netanyahu and his wife, Sara, stayed at a luxurious villa owned by the American billionaire Simon Falic in Jerusalem, where they lived at the beginning of the war on Gaza.

The house has an advanced shelter against missiles and is located in the “Talbiyot” neighborhood, southeast of Jerusalem.

Amid fears of an Iranian response, Uri Misgav, a journalist for the “Haaretz” newspaper, reported that Netanyahu and his wife returned to stay at the villa in Talbiyot.

Netanyahu’s office did not respond to a request for comment on the matter from the Hebrew site “Walla.”

An American news site, Axios, reported on Saturday that Netanyahu and his wife are spending the weekend holiday at the home of the American Jewish billionaire Simon Falic in Jerusalem.

At the beginning of the war on Gaza, the Netanyahu family moved to live in the Falic family villa, dividing their time between this house and their private residence in Caesarea, but they returned in recent months to live in their apartment on “Gaza Street.”

Who is Simon Falic?

A Jewish American billionaire. Chairman of the “Duty-Free Americas” company, which operates more than 200 duty-free stores at airports and border crossings in the western hemisphere. Earlier this year, Falic and his family were awarded the Jerusalem Prize for developing “Judea and Samaria,” in Israeli parlance meaning the West Bank. He is considered a close friend of Netanyahu. He is also a supporter of many right-wing Israeli organizations. In the United States, Falic supports the Republican Party.
