Watan-Scenes depicting the resilience of Palestinians and their defiance against the crimes committed by the occupying army continue to unfold, as the army seeks to force the steadfast people to evacuate their lands.
In one scene, a displaced Palestinian was seen returning to the city of Khan Younis in the Gaza Strip, in a half-car that had been bombed by the occupying army earlier.
The Palestinian refugee was seen driving the partially destroyed car, with only minor parts unaffected by the bombing.
Massacre against refugees
The occupying army committed a new massacre, resulting in the martyrdom of five Palestinians, including a woman, and injuring 23 others, as Israeli occupation artillery targeted refugees on Rashid Street while attempting to return to northern Gaza.
The occupying forces stationed near Rashid Street fired artillery shells, bullets, and toxic gas bombs at the refugees as they attempted to return to the city of Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom of five of them and the injury of at least 23.
Hundreds of Palestinians had attempted to return to northern Gaza via the Wadi Gaza bridge on Rashid Street.

Israeli attempt to sabotage mediation efforts
Following the massacre, the National and Islamic Forces Gathering stated that the occupation’s targeting of refugees while attempting to return to their homes in northern Gaza was an attempt to “sabotage mediation efforts to conclude a prisoner exchange deal.”
In a statement, they added, “Zionist terrorism and crimes of genocide continue against the Palestinian people everywhere, as the occupation targeted civilians including children, women, and elderly returning to their areas from which they were displaced (in the north of the Strip).”
They pointed out that many martyrs have fallen and some are still under fire and siege, in a new crime that confirms the occupation’s disregard for all laws, conventions, norms, and international resolutions.
They emphasized that this crime is a clear and explicit means to obstruct and sabotage all efforts and mediations seeking to reach a serious and genuine agreement and exchange deal.
The Gathering called on the international community and UN institutions to fulfill their responsibilities and stop the genocide war, protect displaced civilians, secure their return to their homes and areas safely, and provide everything necessary to achieve means of livelihood for them.
The “National and Islamic Forces Gathering” includes Hamas and Islamic Jihad movements, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine, in addition to other factions.
