Houthi Leader Affirms Palestinian Solidarity: A Barrier Against Zionist Expansion

Watan-Leader of the Houthi group in Yemen, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, said, “Gaza and the Palestinian resistance serve as a barrier to protect Egypt, Jordan, and the region against the Zionist entity, which does not give weight to agreements or international institutions.”

In a speech addressing the latest developments in Palestine and regional updates, al-Houthi called on the Yemeni people to embody tomorrow, Friday, the saying of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, to his Ansar ancestors: “You become numerous in times of panic, and decrease in times of greed.”

Al-Houthi emphasized that “without the resistance, the Israeli enemy would have aimed to occupy other Arab countries.”

He continued, “Without the struggle of the Palestinian people, their sacrifices, resilience, and steadfastness, the aggression of the Israeli enemy and its malice would have targeted other countries on all levels.”

Al-Houthi questioned, “Would agreements, diplomatic options, norms, international laws, or any other considerations deter it from Egypt, Jordan, or any other Arab country?”

He criticized Israel, stating, “Its occupation, ambitions, and hostile tendencies are well-known. Its actions in Palestine prove that it disregards laws, norms, international organizations, or institutions, and any other human considerations.”

Al-Houthi urged the Yemeni people to increase their support and gather in squares in the capital Sana’a and provinces, calling for a widespread turnout to demonstrate their steadfastness, effectiveness, continuity of activity, and strength of belief. He emphasized the importance of always expressing to the Palestinian people that Yemen will not abandon its stance in supporting them, standing with them, and remaining steadfast, regardless of the duration, pressure, or level of events.

No room for laziness

Al-Houthi described the Yemeni people in the last week of Ramadan as great and distinguished, stressing that the expected outcome after Ramadan is for everyone to feel more responsible and strive to do more.

He added, “There is no room for laziness or shirking responsibility, which is not befitting for any believing person who strengthens their piety, increases awareness, connects with the Quran, engages in righteous deeds, and emphasizes the importance of activities and continuous intensification of mobilization efforts, which are among the most important paths.”

He continued, “The longer the aggression on Gaza lasts, the greater our military stance and popular presence should be.”

Targeting 98 ships

Abdul-Malik al-Houthi reviewed Yemen’s support operations for the Palestinian people and their cause, which included 14 operations from the Red Sea to the Indian Ocean over two weeks, also targeting enemy objectives in southern Palestine.

He said, “There is no danger to navigation belonging to European countries that do not lean towards the Israeli enemy, and they can pass safely.”

He added, “We say to Europeans, it is in your interest to withdraw your assets that cost you a lot and expose you to risks and confrontations in favor of the United States.”

Addressing European countries, he said, “Through coordination with our country, any state can cross the sea without being targeted.”

He pointed out that “the impact on the security and safety of navigation and ship passage is due to the congestion of military pieces in the Red Sea.”

The Houthis revealed that they targeted 98 ships in the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean since the beginning of their operations last November. He added that the number of targeting operations over the last two weeks reached 14 operations with 36 missiles and drones.

He emphasized, “We affirm to the Americans, the British, and everyone else that no one can ever stop our supportive operations for Gaza.”

In solidarity with Gaza, facing a destructive Israeli war with American support, the Houthis targeted Israeli cargo ships or those associated with them in the Red Sea with missiles and drones, affirming their determination to continue their operations until the end of the siege on the besieged sector.
