This protest aimed to condemn the crimes committed against women in both Gaza and Sudan and to express solidarity with the Palestinian and Sudanese people.
Yesterday, Monday, security forces also suppressed students at the American University and assaulted them physically after they organized a protest within the university campus demanding the end of partnerships with companies supporting the Israeli occupation’s eradication of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The Egyptian regime prohibits any demonstrations or stands in support of Gaza and the Palestinian cause. It has arrested a large number of protesters who participated in the only demonstration held to support Gaza months ago, despite the approval and supervision of the security forces.
