Watan-The mother of the Israeli sniper “Baril Shemoeli”, who was killed in 2021 after being shot by a Palestinian youth from a pistol through a hole in the wall on the Gaza border during the “Return Marches”, said that the army had eliminated him along with his family, according to her claim.
A Palestinian youth fired at point-blank range at the sniper who was targeting youths at the separation barrier during the protests marking the anniversary of the burning of Al-Aqsa Mosque, causing him serious injuries, resulting in his death.
“Netza Shemoeli,” the mother of the Israeli sniper Baril Shemoeli, announced via her Facebook account that her son’s killer and his family had been eliminated, and their house destroyed. This was reported by the Hebrew newspaper “Israel Today.”
She mentioned receiving an official message about the incident but criticized the Shin Bet for not informing her about it.

Following the killing of the sniper “Shemoeli,” his family demanded the Chief of Staff to form a military investigation committee to investigate the seriousness of what happened and the failure before, during, and after the incident.
On the Palestinian side, there has been no statement either confirming or denying the claims made by the mother of the deceased Israeli sniper.
The war on the Gaza Strip entered its 200th day on Tuesday, with Israeli airstrikes and massacres against Palestinian civilians continuing. The number of martyrs of the Israeli aggression rose to 34,183 and the wounded to 77,143 since October 7th, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
On the other hand, the number of Israeli army casualties during this war reached 605, including 260 since the start of the ground operation, while the number of soldiers injured since the beginning of the war on Gaza reached 3,294, including 1,583 injured since the start of the ground operation.
