Al-Qassam Brigades’ Ambush: Unexploded Mines and Missiles Strike Israeli Forces in Gaza
Watan-The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military arm of the Hamas movement, announced on Wednesday evening that they had executed two ambushes against Israeli army forces in the Maghraqa area in central Gaza Strip.
The Maghraqa ambush… unexploded explosive devices and “F16” missiles
In a brief statement via their Telegram channel, Al-Qassam said about the Maghraqa ambush: “Our fighters lured two Zionist forces, equipped and armored, and trapped them in separate mine ambushes using explosive devices and ‘F16’ missiles that were launched at civilians but did not explode in the Maghraqa area in the middle of the Gaza Strip.”
Prior to this announcement, a video was published by Al-Qassam showing the sniper of an Israeli army officer in northern Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip, in an operation that took place on the 22nd of April.

Yesterday, Tuesday, an Israeli military spokesperson announced the killing of soldier “Salem Al-Kharbashat,” a Bedouin resident of the Negev, as a result of serious injuries sustained from sniper fire in Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip. He indicated that he was from the Counter-Sniper Unit in the Israeli army.
It is worth mentioning that the Al-Qassam Brigades previously broadcasted scenes of the “Righteous Ambush,” a qualitative ambush executed against Israeli army forces on the 27th day of Ramadan from Point Zero, in the Zanna area east of Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip, announcing the killing of 9 Israeli soldiers in it.

The war on the Gaza Strip entered its 200th day on Tuesday (23/4/2024), with the continuation of Israeli airstrikes and massacres against Palestinian civilians, while the number of martyrs of the Israeli aggression rose to 34,183 and the wounded to 77,143 since October 7th, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.
In contrast, the number of Israeli army fatalities during this war reached 605, including 260 since the start of the ground operation. The number of soldiers injured since the start of the war on Gaza reached 3,294, including 1,583 injured since the start of the ground operation.
