Watan-The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, broadcasted on Wednesday evening documentation of sniping an officer in the Israeli occupation army north of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to the video broadcasted by Al-Qassam on its Telegram account, the operation took place on the 22nd of April.

The video shows one of the Al-Qassam fighters monitoring the movements of a group of occupation soldiers before firing a single shot from a sniper rifle, directly hitting the Israeli officer, who falls dead, while those around him flee.

Yesterday, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army announced the killing of an Israeli reserve soldier, succumbing to serious injuries sustained from sniper fire in Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip.

According to an Israeli military spokesperson, the soldier, “Salem Al-Kharbshat,” a Bedouin from the Negev, was shot by a Palestinian sniper during an incursion into Beit Hanoun.

The spokesperson noted that the deceased was from the Army’s Impact Unit.

The war on the Gaza Strip entered its 200th day on Tuesday (23/4/2024), with Israeli airstrikes and massacres against Palestinian civilians continuing. The death toll from the Israeli aggression has risen to 34,183, and the number of wounded to 77,143 since October 7th, according to the Gaza Health Ministry.

In contrast, the number of Israeli army fatalities during this war reached 605, including 260 since the start of the ground operation. The number of soldiers injured since the start of the war on Gaza reached 3,294, including 1,583 since the start of the ground operation.
