Watan-Amid reports discussing the imminent invasion by the occupying army of Rafah city, Palestinian factions warned of catastrophic and humanitarian repercussions and an explosion threatening national security in the region, especially for Egypt, if the occupation army were to invade the city located in the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian factions in Gaza stated that the US administration and Western society bear responsibility for any ground invasion of Rafah, indicating that international forces and institutions would be accomplices in any crimes committed in the city.
They also warned of an explosion threatening the entire region’s national security, especially for Egypt, if the occupation persists in invading Rafah.
They pointed out that the aggression would completely halt the flow of aid to Palestinians through the Rafah crossing, the only remaining lifeline.
Resistance is ready for any scenario
At the same time, the factions affirmed that the resistance would not sit idly by, preparing for any scenarios, including the invasion of Rafah, emphasizing that all options are open to protect our people and thwart the occupation’s plans.

The factions also called on Arab and Islamic countries, as well as free nations worldwide, to adopt a practical stance to halt the aggression, break the siege, and use their leverage and pressure to confront any Israeli threats of invading Rafah.
They urged Arab and Islamic masses and free peoples everywhere to take to the streets to condemn the ongoing genocide war and continue pressuring official Arab and Islamic regimes and Western governments to fulfill their responsibilities in stopping the genocide war.
Israeli reports had confirmed the completion of preparations for an attack on Rafah, with the Hebrew site “Wallah” revealing that the Chief of Staff of the occupation army, Hertzi Halevi, and the head of the Shin Bet, Ronen Bar, met on Wednesday in Cairo with the Egyptian Chief of Staff, Osama Askar, and the Intelligence Chief, Abbas Kamel, to coordinate positions regarding an expected military operation in Rafah.
Israeli officials stated that Israel considers close military and diplomatic coordination with Egypt as one of the fundamental conditions for military action in Rafah.
According to these Israeli officials, significant progress has been made in evacuating civilians from Rafah, with Egypt and the UAE constructing camps between Rafah and Khan Yunis to accommodate the displaced from Rafah.
This comes as the American website “Axios,” citing Israeli sources, reported that the occupation army is awaiting directives from Netanyahu to begin evacuating civilians as soon as the pending issues with the Americans and Egyptians are resolved.
The Israeli broadcasting authority stated that the occupation army is preparing to invade Rafah very soon in an operation that involves evacuating large numbers of residents, with American approval.
Israel insists on invading Rafah on the pretext that it is the last stronghold of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” despite increasing international warnings of catastrophic repercussions with around 1.4 million displaced people there.
