Watan-A massive fire broke out following the derailment of a train carrying gasoline and propane between the states of Arizona and New Mexico in the United States, where flames engulfed six cars.
Footage aired by American media showed the train catching fire during the incident which occurred as a storm swept through northeast Lincoln.
There were no reports of injuries despite the train derailing near a busy highway.
Authorities decided to close the road in the accident area, a major shipping route between the two states, and residents of nearby homes were evacuated.
Another fire in the United States occurred at the end of a 600-meter-long pier in Oceanside, California.
The fire broke out in an empty restaurant, sending thick smoke into the area’s sky.
Firefighters took several hours to control the fire, with various boats intervening to extinguish the flames, aided by aerial assistance from a helicopter dropping water over the fire site, the cause of which is unknown.
