Watan-It’s difficult to analyze in one post how the Zionist lobby infiltrates every aspect of American life: cinema, school curricula, culture, politics, Congress, churches, and more.
Palestine is entirely absent from the American public opinion, while the Zionist narrative prevails. I remember volunteering in 1988 at the Roots Foundation in Washington, where we displayed images of the first Palestinian intifada in exhibitions for American journalists to see, copying and sending them to American newspapers. We changed nothing as if we were plowing on rocks. The truth did not disappear because they do not know, but it disappeared because of Zionist money dominance.
The change we see today began to take shape with the clashes of Sheikh Jarrah in Jerusalem. Students began to watch and read, and the role of the new Palestinian generation, which is reinforced through several Palestinian clubs spread across most universities, and became famous through social media accounts defending Palestinian rights, followed by millions of Americans. The role of Arab students was also important in refuting the Zionist narrative.
The new generation has emerged from under the influence of the Zionist media and has begun to refute the Zionist narrative alone, with the help of Israel itself through its crimes that reach them through sound and image on their phones.
The Holocaust story has lost its impact in the face of the holocausts in Syria, Iraq, Gaza, and the massacres committed by America itself, which are more horrific than the Holocaust.
The charge of anti-Semitism also raises ridicule, so what does that charge mean if the Semites, who are prohibited from opposing them, are committing genocide against the innocent?
The image of the occupation has become very clear to a large segment of students, and this has been reinforced by university professors who supported and endorsed them.
This clash between the administration and many members of Congress is a clash between ethics and the involvement of the administration and Congress in massacres of genocide.
University students cannot accept and remain silent on this matter, as it contradicts all the values they learned in their childhood and schools.
In my opinion, the downfall of the Zionist narrative will open wider discussions about the infiltration of Zionism, which threatens to decline its influence on the United States and Europe after Gaza exposed it.
This is the most important change to the Palestinian issue since the Nakba, as it was not easy to change the American public opinion without exposing the entrenched Zionist narrative in the media, cinema, and universities.
The world is changing today. It gets to know each other better. And the peoples have come out of the prison of the authorities’ screens and the Zionist infiltrators who rule in secret, and all this is the result of the flood.
