Watan-The Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” expressed doubts about the Israeli occupation’s narrative after it claimed to have recovered the bodies of three Israeli captives who had been held in the Gaza Strip since last October 7.
Hamas leader Izzat al-Rishq commented on the announcement made by the Israeli occupation army, saying, “We affirm our lack of trust in the occupation’s narrative, and we always say that the final word belongs to the resistance.”
He added, “The occupation’s claim—if true—of recovering the bodies of some of its captives held by the resistance in the Gaza Strip, after eight months of aggression and genocidal war against our people, is not an achievement for their Nazi government. Rather, it is evidence of the poor performance of their terrified army, and it confirms the resistance’s promise that the enemy will only get its captives back as lifeless bodies or through an honorable exchange deal for our people and our resistance.”
Izzat al-Rishq pointed out that the bodies the occupation claims to have recovered might be those previously bombed by the occupation and left under the rubble.

He continued, “While we doubt the occupation’s narrative, we affirm that this claim is merely an attempt to cover up their losses and their abject failure in the face of the bravery of the resistance and the valor of the Qassam and Saraya al-Quds fighters in Jabalia, Zeitoun, and east of Rafah.”
The Occupation Announces Its Narrative
The spokesman for the Israeli occupation army, Daniel Hagari, stated in a televised address that the occupation forces, along with the Shin Bet (internal security) and special forces, had recovered the bodies of captives Yitzhak Glanter, Shani Louk, and Amit Buskila.
Hagari claimed that the three bodies belonged to Israelis who fled alive from the Nova music festival in a settlement adjacent to Gaza during the attacks on October 7, but were later killed.
Netanyahu’s Comment
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised the operation and reiterated his commitment to bringing back all captives, stating, “We will bring back all our hostages, whether alive or dead.”
In a brief statement issued by his office in Arabic, Netanyahu said, “Our hearts break because of the great loss. My wife Sarah and I grieve with their families, and all our hearts are with them in their deep sorrow. We will bring back all those held captive.
