UAE Ambassador’s Controversial Presence at Israeli Leader’s Iftar Dinner Sparks Outrage

Watan-While the Israeli occupation army continues to commit the worst kinds of genocide in history against our people in Gaza, the UAE ambassador to Israel, Mohamed Al Khaja, attended an iftar dinner hosted by the Israeli occupation’s leader, Isaac Herzog, at his home.
Photos posted by Herzog on his X account showed UAE Ambassador Mohamed Al Khaja among the attendees at the iftar dinner he hosted, along with several ministers, ambassadors from Western countries, imams, mayors, council members, and figures from within the Palestinian community, as well as representatives of the killers and violators of Al-Aqsa – representatives from the Israeli occupation army and police.

The Zionist entity’s president commented on the photos, saying: “Tonight, we hosted at the president’s residence the traditional iftar dinner to mark the month of Ramadan, with the presence of hundreds of guests from all sectors of Israeli society – including bereaved families, hostage families, and public servants – both Arabs and Jews alike.”
Herzog claimed that “Israel’s war is not a war between religions and will not undermine any enemy or extremist our partnership. We must unite against hatred and extremism.”
Who is Mohamed Al Khaja, the UAE ambassador to Israel?
According to previous reports, the UAE ambassador to Israel, Mohamed Al Khaja, represents an extraordinary ambassadorship dedicated to solidifying normalization through unconventional diplomatic activities that bolster moral support for Tel Aviv.
Al Khaja recently chose the most sensitive times for Palestinians and the free world sympathetic to them, following Israel’s massacres in Gaza, to commit “activities” that can be said to have exceeded the bounds of normalization.

The Agreement of Shame
An agreement between UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Benjamin Netanyahu, with the blessing of Donald Trump on August 13, 2020, led to the beginning of normalization of relations between the two countries.
A joint statement issued by the UAE, Israel, and the United States at the time stated that the three countries “agreed to fully normalize relations between Israel and the UAE.” The signing ceremony took place officially on September 15, 2020.
On August 16, 2020, the UAE allowed direct phone calls to Israel for the first time by lifting the ban on direct calls with the occupation state’s country code +972.
On August 31, 2020, the first direct commercial flight from Israel to the UAE operated by Israeli airline “El Al” took place. In July 2021, the UAE opened its embassy in Tel Aviv.
