Abu Ubaida: Israeli Losses in Northern Gaza Far Exceed Official Reports

Al-Qassam Brigades spokesperson claims resistance forces continue to inflict heavy casualties on Israeli military despite ongoing battles in Gaza's north.

WatanAbu Ubaida, the spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, confirmed that resistance fighters continue to inflict “heavy losses” on the occupation forces on the battlefield, especially in the last 72 hours, after the Israeli army reported severe incidents in the northern Gaza Strip that led to the deaths of new soldiers.

Abu Ubaida stated in a press statement, commenting on the successful attacks by the resistance in northern Gaza: “After more than 100 days of the comprehensive destruction and genocide carried out by the enemy’s army in northern Gaza, our Mujahideen continue to inflict heavy losses and deliver severe blows.” He pointed out that these attacks in the last 72 hours have resulted in over 10 fatalities and dozens of injuries.

He confirmed that the losses within the Israeli army, which he described as “defeated,” are much higher than what is being reported. He said, “The enemy will retreat from northern Gaza defeated, dragging its shameful tail, unable to break the will of the resistance. The only achievement it has made is destruction, devastation, and massacres against innocent people.”

Abu Ubaida‘s statement came after the Israeli army acknowledged a difficult incident on Monday morning, in which three soldiers were killed and others were critically wounded in battles in northern Gaza.

The incident occurred when resistance fighters detonated a booby-trapped building with a military force in the town of Beit Hanoun. The killed and injured soldiers were transferred to “Barzilai” hospital in Ashkelon.

On Saturday, the resistance managed to kill four Israeli soldiers and injure others in an attack on the occupation forces in Beit Hanoun, when they detonated an explosive device in a military vehicle and also targeted it with an anti-tank missile.
