Watan–A young girl met her tragic end between the jaws of a crocodile while bathing in a lake in Indonesia.
Kaka, who was five years old, was with her parents when the crocodile grabbed her from the riverbank. The tragedy occurred around 9 AM on Saturday in Bukit Layang village in the Bangka region.
The saltwater crocodile lunged at Kaka and dragged her into the muddy depths while her parents desperately tried to save her.
Rescue teams, including local police, villagers, and members of the Bangka Belitung Search and Rescue Agency, worked all day to locate the girl.
After hours, the crocodile was found, and the girl’s body was retrieved from its stomach, with her skull appearing crushed.The girl’s body was handed over to her family for burial.
These fierce predators can grow up to 22 feet long and weigh over 1,000 kg, making them the largest reptiles in the world.
