The spokesperson for the Palestinian Prisoners’ Affairs Commission, Thaer Shreiteh, stated that the commission does not trust the data released by Israeli authorities and prison administrations regarding the names of prisoners set to be released under the deal. He noted clear errors in the published list, including names of prisoners who had already been released, as well as missing additional information for ten of the listed prisoners.

Shreiteh urged Egyptian and Qatari mediators to intervene to prevent these violations and ensure that Israeli authorities are not allowed to create confusion in Palestinian society and among the families of the prisoners.

The Palestinian Prisoners’ Club also issued a statement emphasizing that the list published by the so-called “Israeli Prison Service” is part of Israel‘s legal procedures. Palestinian authorities will release an official list once all procedures are finalized and details are confirmed.
