How can I live without you?.. A Father’s Tears and Embraces as he Bids Farewell to his Martyred Child

Watan-Tears and embraces marked the farewell as a Palestinian father bid his young child goodbye after the child’s martyrdom, a result of the ongoing Israeli occupation’s shelling in Gaza for the 36th consecutive day.

Al Jazeera Palestine shared a video on its (X) platform, depicting the Palestinian father carrying his martyr child in his arms, shedding tears and saying, “I am his father, people. The son is gone. How can I live without you?

Meanwhile, 4,506 Palestinian children have been martyred during the ongoing Israeli war on the Gaza Strip for the 36th day, as reported by Palestinian medical sources in Gaza.

This poignant scene of the Palestinian child’s father, who lost his child in the Israeli occupation’s shelling in Gaza, reflects the sorrow experienced by families who have lost their loved ones during the fiercest Israeli war on the strip.

Massacres by the Israeli Occupation Against Civilians in Gaza

The Israeli occupation committed more than 1,130 massacres in various areas of the Gaza Strip during its indiscriminate and reckless bombardment. The latest of these was the shelling of the Al-Buraq School northwest of Gaza City, resulting in the tragic loss of over 50 lives, predominantly children, women, and elderly individuals. Many of them had sought refuge in the school after evacuating from Al-Shifa Hospital within a short span of time.

The toll of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, which began on October 7th of last year, has risen to over 11,000 Palestinian martyrs, the majority of whom are civilians. Additionally, more than 27,000 people have sustained various injuries, ranging from moderate to severe, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, as of the latest update.
