Israel Escalates Attacks: 330 Killed in Devastating Airstrikes on Gaza
Majority of Victims Are Women and Children Amid Relentless Bombardment on the Besieged Strip.
Watan-The Ministry of Health affiliated with Hamas reported on Tuesday that the number of Palestinian martyrs has risen to 330, “the majority of them children and women,” due to a series of intense Israeli airstrikes on Gaza last night.
Mohammed Zaqout, the Director General of Hospitals at the ministry, stated that “as of this morning (Tuesday), the Ministry of Health has recorded more than 330 martyrs, the majority of whom are children and women, along with hundreds of injured individuals, dozens of whom are in critical and serious condition, as a result of the Israeli aggression and the series of intense and deadly airstrikes on Gaza.” He also noted the presence of “dozens of missing persons under the rubble of destroyed homes.”
The Israeli occupation resumed its full-scale aggression against Gaza at dawn on Tuesday, launching a series of extensive airstrikes and fire belts.
Earlier, Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal said: “More than 220 martyrs, the majority of them children, women, and the elderly, have been transported to hospitals in Gaza due to the Israeli aggression,” adding that “the occupation has carried out more than 200 airstrikes and intense artillery shelling and continues its bombardment.”
