Final Moments of Hamas Leader Yahya Sinwar Captured on Video
Watan-Israeli media on Saturday published a video showing the final moments in the life of Yahya Sinwar, head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, who was assassinated by the Israeli army.
According to the Israel Hayom news site, the video shows Sinwar sitting on a chair inside a house in Rafah, southern Gaza, unable to move after being wounded during a clash with Israeli soldiers.
According to the report, the video documents a pursuit that ended with Sinwar being targeted in his home. He was seen holding a Kalashnikov rifle, wearing a combat vest, and carrying hand grenades. He was reportedly shot in the right arm by Israeli soldiers.
The report adds that Sinwar threw two grenades at the soldiers before Israeli tanks opened fire on the house. The army then sent a drone inside. After a second tank shelled the building, the drone re-entered, capturing footage of Sinwar sitting on a sofa, in pain, making no attempt to respond or defend himself against the drone.
