Over 15,000 Palestinian Children Killed in Gaza Genocide, Says Health Ministry

Palestinian Ministry of Health reports 31% of Gaza’s 50,000 martyrs are children, as Israeli attacks continue with U.S. coordination

Watan-The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Monday that the number of children martyred during the genocide committed by Israel has risen to 15,613, accounting for 31% of the total number of martyrs in the Strip, which has reached 50,082.

This was stated in an infographic published by the ministry on the Telegram platform, regarding child victims during the period from October 7, 2023, to March 23, 2025.

According to the infographic, the ministry reported that 33,900 children have been injured, representing 30% of the total number of wounded in the Strip, which stands at 113,408.

Israel has killed 825 infants under the age of one, and the number of children who were born and martyred during the genocide has reached approximately 274.

The infographic also reported that during this same period, 825 infants under one year old were killed, and about 274 children were both born and killed during the genocide.

Since Israel resumed its genocide in Gaza early Tuesday morning, it has killed 730 Palestinians and injured 1,367 others, most of them women and children, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza.

This escalation—which Tel Aviv said is being carried out in full coordination with Washington—constitutes the biggest violation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, whose second phase Israel refused to implement after the first phase ended in early March.

Despite Hamas adhering to the terms of the agreement, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu refused to proceed with the second phase, yielding to pressure from extremists in his government.
