Watan-The Israeli occupation army continues its ground operation in the Gaza Strip, nine days after the war resumed, amid ongoing bombardment and the demolition of homes. In response to the resumption of the war and the continued Israeli massacres in the Strip, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, launched a rocket barrage today, Wednesday, targeting several settlements in the Gaza envelope.
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed today, Wednesday, that Israel would increase pressure on Hamas in Gaza if it refuses to release the captives held in the Strip. Netanyahu said during a session of the Israeli Knesset: “The more Hamas continues to refuse to release our hostages, the stronger the pressure we will apply.” He added: “I say this to my colleagues in the Knesset, and I also say it to Hamas—this includes seizing territory and other measures that I will not detail here.”

Hamas Accuses Netanyahu of Sabotaging Ceasefire as Israel Pushes Gaza Emigration Plan
On the other hand, Hamas today, Wednesday, held Netanyahu responsible for “sabotaging” the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip and the prisoner exchange deal, saying that returning to the war of genocide was a “premeditated decision” on his part. The movement affirmed that the Palestinian resistance factions are doing everything they can to keep the Israeli captives alive, but “the random Zionist bombardment is putting their lives at risk.” In its message to the Israeli public, Hamas said that Netanyahu “is lying to the families of the captives when he claims that the military option can bring them back alive.” It added: “Every time the occupation tried to retrieve its captives by force, they came back dead in coffins.”
Yesterday, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation began its first practical experiment to encourage Gaza residents to emigrate, with 100 residents from the Strip heading to Indonesia as part of the initiative. According to Channel 12’s website today, Wednesday, the pilot phase includes 100 people from Gaza who appear to be heading to work in Indonesia’s construction sector. The report noted that the occupation state aims to ensure they do not return to Gaza. It explained that the official overseeing the deportation project is Major General Ghassan Alian, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the West Bank and Gaza. The channel added that “the goal of the project is to encourage thousands of Gaza residents to voluntarily migrate to Indonesia for work in construction, if the pilot phase proves successful.”
This comes at a time when the occupation continues to close the border crossings and enforce a total blockade on the Gaza Strip, raising fears of an imminent famine in the territory. According to a warning issued by the Government Media Office today, Wednesday, the current supply of flour and essential materials for bread production is expected to run out by the end of this month, in addition to a shrinking stock of ingredients used in food preparation.
