Watan-The Israeli army spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, announced on the platform X that Brigade 810 forces, under the command of Division 210, raided new sites on the summit of Syria’s Mount Hermon last week—areas where “the Israeli army had never operated before.” According to Adraee, the goal of the operation was to eliminate threats and seize military equipment belonging to the enemy in that area.
He claimed that during the operation, the “Alpine Unit” forces discovered military infrastructure, including equipment and an explosive device weighing dozens of kilograms.
Adraee asserted that the Israeli army will continue its operations in the area to counter “terrorist infrastructure and protect the citizens of Israel and residents of the Golan Heights.”
In a related development, a reporter from a local news outlet in Daraa, southern Syria, reported that local armed groups managed to shoot down an Israeli drone in the Kouya Valley in western Daraa countryside.
