Captive in Gaza Calls on American Brother to Seek Trump’s Help for Release

Israeli Prisoner in Gaza Urges Family to Seek Trump’s Intervention for His Release

Watan-Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, released a video on Saturday showing an Israeli captive in Gaza simulating a phone call with his family, in which he pleads with them to make efforts to secure his release.

The Israeli prisoner made a special appeal to his brother, who holds American citizenship, urging him to go to the White House and speak with President Donald Trump, begging him to help free him.

The video, posted by Al-Qassam on Telegram, shows the captive speaking to his wife, saying:”Hello, Rivka, my wonderful wife, listen to me. How are you? I wanted you to know that I dream of you every day and night, every hour. I’m obsessed with seeing you, and I see you and our son Ram in my dreams.”

He added:”Keep doing everything you can for me. Don’t stop. You’ve reached out to everyone—the state, the government, the general labor union, and the army.”

A Father’s Voice from Captivity

The captive mentioned hearing about petitions calling for an end to the war and the release of prisoners, and commented:”That’s good, keep going. I know that the people care more about their citizens than the government does. Give me Ram—I want to talk to him, I want him to hear my voice.”

He then addressed his son:”Ram, how are you, my dear? Take care of your mother. You are now the man of the house. You wore nice clothes for the holiday, and of course your grandparents are proud of you. I know that in a month and a half, you’ll be celebrating your fifth birthday.”

He continued:”I wanted to raise you and make you a good citizen like your father, to contribute without expecting anything in return. But you can see how the state is treating me. I just wanted you to keep that in mind.”
