Hamas Warns Israeli Delays in Gaza Aid Could Disrupt Ceasefire and Prisoner Exchange

Hamas accuses Israel of stalling humanitarian aid deliveries to Gaza, warning that such actions could jeopardize the ceasefire agreement, including the exchange of detainees.

Watan-Two informed sources in Hamas warned on Wednesday that Israel’s “delays” in allowing aid into the Gaza Strip could impact the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, including matters related to the release of Israeli detainees.

A senior Hamas source stated: “We warn that the occupation’s continued procrastination and failure to adhere to the humanitarian aspect of the ceasefire agreement—by not allowing the entry of fuel, tents, caravans, and heavy equipment as per the agreement—will affect the smooth implementation of the deal, including the prisoner exchange.”

The second source, who is familiar with the negotiations, said that the movement is urging “mediators to compel the occupation to implement the agreement and not create crises.”
