Israeli Minister Orit Strook Implicated in Daughter’s Sexual Abuse Allegations
Viral video by Shoshana Strook accuses far-right minister and her husband of abuse, sparking outrage, media pressure, and calls for immediate investigation.

Watan-In a shocking scandal that has shaken Israeli public opinion, a young woman named Shoshana Strook appeared in a video accusing her parents—including her mother, the far-right Settlement Minister Orit Strook—of sexually abusing her. The video quickly went viral in Israel, especially after reports confirmed that the girl is indeed the daughter of the minister.
The widely circulated footage shows the girl pleading for urgent protection, fearing threats to her safety after exposing the case. According to the Hebrew daily Maariv, the girl gave her testimony to Israeli police two weeks ago, prompting authorities to issue an emergency gag order prohibiting the publication of any case details.
Despite the gag order, online platforms were flooded with allegations and confirmations that the girl is indeed Orit Strook’s daughter. Israeli activists and human rights advocates launched a trending hashtag demanding an immediate investigation and the minister’s dismissal, asking: “Where is Netanyahu? Where are the people’s representatives? A girl is crying out for help publicly—and no one is responding?”

Israeli journalist Yoram Kross criticized the government’s silence, saying:”Orit Strook will not be dismissed. The worst that might happen is she’ll be downgraded from Settlement Minister to Minister of Women’s Empowerment!”
The Strook family’s history is not without controversy. Her son was previously convicted of kidnapping and torturing a Palestinian boy, in addition to brutally killing a newborn goat by stomping it to death—an incident that sparked outrage among human rights advocates and international observers.
Strangely, the Israeli Knesset has yet to issue any official statement, and Minister Strook herself has remained silent. Observers warn that the scandal could evolve into a full-blown political and ethical crisis for the Israeli government, especially as local and international media pressure continues to mount.
