The Civil Defense said in a statement: “A new horrific Israeli crime against Palestinian civilians—more than 15 martyrs, mostly women and children, were recovered after Israeli forces targeted displaced persons’ tents at the end of Al-Istabl Street in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis,” in the southern part of the Strip.
The statement added that “the bombing caused fires in the tents, leading to the burning of bodies and injuries.”

Since resuming its genocide in Gaza on March 18, Israel has killed 1,652 Palestinians and injured 4,391 others—mostly women and children—according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza on Wednesday morning.
In total, the Israeli genocide, backed by the United States since October 7, 2023, has resulted in over 167,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them women and children, and more than 11,000 missing persons.
Israel has imposed a blockade on Gaza for 18 years. About 1.5 million out of the approximately 2.4 million residents are now homeless, after their homes were destroyed in the war of extermination, and the Strip has entered a famine phase due to Tel Aviv’s closure of crossings to humanitarian aid.
