Watan – The digital landscape has been abuzz with discussions centered-around a prominent Kuwaiti digital influencer. The discourse stems from a devastating road incident that led to the unfortunate demise of two individuals and left two others with injuries. This incident has since been colloquially termed the “Digital Influencer Incident.”

Kuwait’s local court has provisionally decided to prolong Al-Mu’min’s detention, citing ten specific allegations. The subsequent court session is set for October 11, as reported by the widely followed “Council” social media platform.

Mishari Al-Tawil, the attorney representing the injured, Youssef Al-Mutairi, provided insights into the court’s initial deliberations. He emphasized the array of charges against Al-Mu’min, notably her alleged traffic signal violations, impaired driving, and speeding.

Al-Tawil urges the public to place their trust solely in authenticated information, highlighting the prevalence of baseless narratives circulating widely. He emphasized that the intricate details of the case have been kept confidential, with exclusive access granted to the judiciary during its preliminary phases.

In a twist, Mariam Al-Mu’min, a legal expert and sister to Fatima, firmly denied any drug-related aspects in the case, be it usage or possession.

Local authorities have handed Al-Mu’min a detailed slate of charges, spanning from accidental harm and impaired driving to other traffic-related offenses.

Notably, the judge initially overseeing the case stepped aside. Media analyst, Mai Al-Aidan, suggests a potential familial tie between the judge and a victim as the reason for this recusal.
