Ben Gvir Calls for Bombing Gaza Aid Warehouses During U.S. Visit
Israeli Minister Itamar Ben Gvir urges military action against humanitarian aid facilities in Gaza, drawing international concern amid meetings with U.S. Republican officials.
Watan-Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir incited on Wednesday to bomb food and aid warehouses in the Gaza Strip, during a visit he is making to the United States.
The far-right leader of the “Jewish Power” party said in a post on the platform “X”:“I had the honor and privilege of meeting senior officials in the Republican Party at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort (in Florida).”
He explained that the American officials in the party“expressed their support for my very clear stance on how to act in Gaza, which is that food and aid warehouses should be bombed in order to create military and political pressure to bring our hostages home safely.”
There has been no immediate comment from the Republican Party regarding the statement.
On Monday, Ben Gvir arrived in the United States, in his first official visit since being boycotted by the administration of former President Joe Biden due to his anti-peace positions, calls for war, starvation of Palestinians, their displacement, and the establishment of settlements in Gaza following its occupation.
