Al-Qassam Brigades Inflict Heavy Losses on Israeli Forces in Gaza Battles
Hamas fighters continue ambushes from Beit Hanoun to Rafah amid escalating Israeli casualties.
Watan-The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, stated on Friday that its fighters are engaged in fierce battles and executing well-coordinated ambushes against Israeli forces invading the Gaza Strip, inflicting heavy casualties from Beit Hanoun in the north to Rafah in the south.
Abu Ubaida, spokesperson for Al-Qassam, said in Telegram posts that their fighters are still “engaged in heroic battles, executing precise ambushes, and lying in wait for enemy forces to trap them in deadly confrontations—at the time, place, and method of their choosing.”
He described the actions of Al-Qassam fighters “from Beit Hanoun to Rafah” as “a source of pride, a military miracle, and a clear message to the youth and forces of the nation.”
He added that their fighters, “within combat formations and defensive ambushes, are fully prepared for confrontation, having pledged to stand firm until victory or martyrdom.”
In related news, the Israeli military announced on Thursday the death of one soldier and serious injuries to three others during fighting in northern Gaza.
On Friday, official Israeli data revealed that 456 soldiers and civilians have been killed in the past 12 months as a result of Tel Aviv’s ongoing war crimes in Gaza, its assault on Lebanon, and various attacks.
Despite these official numbers, the Israeli army is accused of concealing the true death toll, especially as many operations and ambushes claimed by Palestinian factions reportedly result in casualties that are not publicly acknowledged.
According to multiple international reports, Israel enforces strict military censorship over media coverage of its losses in order to maintain public morale.
With full U.S. support, Israel has been committing a genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in over 168,000 Palestinian casualties—mostly children and women—and more than 11,000 missing.
