In a moving humane gesture, the Palestinian doctor asked the little girl to call him ‘Baba’ (Daddy). The girl responded that she already did, and then he requested her to give him a kiss. After that, they embraced each other.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army continues its destructive war on the Gaza Strip for the 44th consecutive day. The number of martyrs has exceeded 12,500, according to the latest compiled and announced statistics, amid intensified airstrikes and shelling of homes with their residents inside, as the crimes of genocide persist.

There is no safe place in Gaza, as Israeli airstrikes persist and escalate across various areas of the strip. A medical source revealed that 31 people were martyred in Israeli airstrikes targeting homes in central Gaza during the past night.

Furthermore, Israeli warplanes destroyed four mosques in the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of completely destroyed mosques during the war to 76, in addition to 162 mosques that suffered partial destruction.

Israeli massacres

The most painful and costly in the recent hours of airstrikes was the Israeli occupation army’s bombardment of the al-Fakhoura school and another school in Tel al-Zaatar, resulting in the martyrdom of hundreds of displaced Palestinians.

Hamas Addresses Arab Leaders

Amid the occupier’s massacres, the head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh, called on the follow-up committee stemming from the Arab and Islamic Summit Conference to hold an urgent meeting to discuss the cessation of the war and the lifting of the blockade on the Gaza Strip.

According to a statement issued by Hamas, Haniyeh conducted contacts with several regional and international leaders and officials following what the Israeli army committed as ‘brutal massacres’ in civilian shelters, particularly schools.

During the communications, Haniyeh emphasized the importance of convening an urgent meeting of the follow-up committee derived from the Arab and Islamic Summit Conference to initiate the implementation of its resolutions regarding the cessation of aggression and the lifting of the blockade on the Gaza Strip.

He stressed the need for swift action to compel Israel to implement recent international resolutions calling for an end to the aggression against the Palestinian people and the protection of hospitals.
