Hamas Addresses Arab Leaders
Amid the occupier’s massacres, the head of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Ismail Haniyeh, called on the follow-up committee stemming from the Arab and Islamic Summit Conference to hold an urgent meeting to discuss the cessation of the war and the lifting of the blockade on the Gaza Strip.
According to a statement issued by Hamas, Haniyeh conducted contacts with several regional and international leaders and officials following what the Israeli army committed as ‘brutal massacres’ in civilian shelters, particularly schools.
During the communications, Haniyeh emphasized the importance of convening an urgent meeting of the follow-up committee derived from the Arab and Islamic Summit Conference to initiate the implementation of its resolutions regarding the cessation of aggression and the lifting of the blockade on the Gaza Strip.
He stressed the need for swift action to compel Israel to implement recent international resolutions calling for an end to the aggression against the Palestinian people and the protection of hospitals.
