Espionage Allegations: Unraveling the Emirati Field Hospital Controversy in Gaza
The Emirati field hospital will operate under the supervision of the dismissed Fatah leader, Mohammed Dahlan.

Watan-The hashtag ‘Gaza under UAE espionage’ circulated on social media platforms, exposing Abu Dhabi’s espionage plans against the Gaza Strip and its resistance.

Activists focused on the perceived threat of the Emirati field hospital being inaugurated in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, amidst significant warnings that it could be utilized as a field espionage platform, seen as an Israeli intelligence base.

Supervised by Mohammed Dahlan

Gulf and Arab activists have claimed that the Emirati field hospital will operate under the oversight of the dismissed Fatah leader, who serves as a security advisor to the Emirati President, Mohammed bin Zayed.

According to an EmiratiLeaks report, coordination between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv took place to construct the Emirati field hospital in the Stadium Complex in the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip.

Expulsion of Emirati Spy Team from Gaza

These accusations are reminiscent of Hamas arresting an Emirati team in 2014 engaged in gathering intelligence information, promptly expelling them from the region.

Meanwhile, a poll indicates that 75% of Arab activists describe the Emirati field hospital in Gaza as ‘intelligence espionage.

According to the report, evidence is increasing of the Israeli General Security Service’s (Shin Bet) involvement in Emirati security apparatuses due to the normalization and alliance between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv, allowing the latter to infiltrate the Gulf state’s key institutions.”

The Shin Bet Dominates Emirati Security

Diplomatic sources previously revealed that Emirati authorities had recruited members of the Shin Bet (Israeli General Security Service) to work within the local security apparatus, a move described as ‘exacerbating harm to Arab issues and the interests of the region’s peoples.’

Emirati authorities reportedly reached an agreement with Israel to bring seven Shin Bet officers to Abu Dhabi for employment within the security apparatus, using Emirati names to dispel suspicions about their nationality.

It was further explained that Abu Dhabi adopted this method of employing Shin Bet agents to avoid arousing the displeasure of the honorable citizens of the country and other nationalities working in government circles, while allowing them to assume the role of advisors to conceal the true nature of their operations.

According to sources, the mission of Shin Bet agents lies in cooperating with Emirati security authorities to establish a security policy primarily serving Israel’s security and establishing a hub for intelligence operations.
