Watan-The journalist and correspondent of the Qatari Al Jazeera channel, Wael Eldahdouh, shared a photo from inside a mosque, commemorating his late wife, Amina, who became a martyr due to the Israeli bombardment on the Gaza Strip.
Eldahdouh accompanied the photo with poignant words that moved millions, depicting the journalist with his wife, Um Hamza, whom he lost along with several of his children and family members during the brutal war on the besieged Palestinian territory.
In his post published on Thursday, November 30, 2023, the journalist stated, “Oh homeland, in which I lived, relied upon, and my soul breathed its air… You are my homeland… May your day be blessed on your birthday.”
