As the waves lap around a nondescript boat, assailants, their identities concealed, grapple with Fuentes, an anchor tied around his form, before mercilessly consigning him to the ocean’s depths.

Fuentes, operating as a linchpin for the Venezuelan syndicate, Clan del Cartel, had allegedly jettisoned a drug consignment worth $10 million into the sea.
