Arab Wealth Titans: Three Families Secure Spots in the Top 25 Richest Worldwide

Watan-The latest economic report on the world’s richest 25 families for the year 2023 reveals that the ruling family of Abu Dhabi, the Al Nahyan family, has surpassed the American Walton family to claim the title of the wealthiest family globally.

According to a report by Bloomberg, this marks the first time in five years that a family other than the heirs of Walmart has become the world’s richest. Bloomberg notes that these extremely wealthy families have added an additional $1.5 trillion to their personal fortunes this year.

The report attributes this increase to robust economic growth, easing inflation, and flexible consumer spending, all of which have supported these families’ businesses over the past 12 months.
