Tragic Scene in Gaza: Palestinian Youth Braves Rain to Carry Martyr Sister’s Body in Jabalia

Watan-In one of the tragic scenes of the war in Gaza, social media activists shared a video of a Palestinian youth carrying the lifeless body of his younger sister, who was pulled from under the rubble of a destroyed home. This happened after rain submerged wide areas of the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.

The rainwater flooded the Jabalia camp in the Gaza Strip, further worsening the plight of Palestinian refugees who have been besieged by the Israeli military for days, attempting to advance their tanks deep into the camp.

Witnesses mentioned that the Jabalia camp was one of the areas most affected by flooding due to its deteriorated infrastructure, a result of the intense Israeli airstrikes targeting it for weeks.

In a widely circulated video taken from the page of Palestinian journalist Anas Al-Sharif, a young man is seen walking through a street submerged in torrents, carrying the lifeless body of a small girl wrapped in a shroud. Heavy rain is visibly pouring down on him.

The video prompted a significant reaction and a wave of anger among activists who condemned the brutal Israeli occupation’s crimes. The Israeli military, unable to confront the valiant resistance that inflicted unprecedented losses on them, is venting its rage and revenge on civilians.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Ashraf al-Qudra, stated on Wednesday that Israeli forces committed 16 massacres and systematic genocide in all areas of the Gaza Strip in the past few hours.

In the same period, 196 martyrs and 499 injuries were reported in hospitals, with a significant number of victims still under the rubble and in the streets.
