Decoding ‘Naama’: Civilian or Enlisted? Unveiling the Reality Behind the Israeli Prisoner’s Controversy and Rape Allegations
The Israeli Prisoner 'Naama,' Enlisted in Kibbutz 'Nahal Oz

Watan-After two months of circulating video clips showing an Israeli girl being restrained, taken down from the back of a military jeep, questions arose about whether she is a civilian or enlisted. The truth behind the claims of her being raped by resistance elements, as alleged by Israeli accounts at the time, also became a subject of inquiry.

Activists on social media circulated a video during the early days of the ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ battle, showing a woman appearing restrained and distressed, being taken down from the back of a military vehicle.

The ‘Ikad’ platform, specialized in fact-checking news and open sources, traced the story of the Israeli girl named ‘Naama,’ who is 19 years old.

“Israeli accounts posted her picture, claiming her innocence, implying that she is a civilian and alleging that she was raped due to the presence of blood on her clothes, as shown in the circulated videos—a claim that was later proven false.

An account under the name ‘Yoaqim Lundqvist’ claimed that ‘Naama Levi’ was violently raped and tortured, with her knee tendons cut to prevent her from escaping.

Military Base ‘Nahal Oz’

On December 9, the ‘Times of Israel’ reported that ‘Naama’ was captured from the military base ‘Nahal Oz.’ She had completed a training course to become a military monitor, indicating that she was not a civilian. She was serving at the mentioned base on October 7.

On the same day, ‘Naama’s mother, ‘Gilit Levi Shar,’ stated in a blog post that her daughter was present at ‘Kibbutz Nahal Oz‘ on October 7.

Regarding the rape allegations, no evidence confirming the rape of Israeli women has been found.

‘Ikad’ refuted claims propagated by Israeli accounts in multiple investigations, debunking the narrative.”
