Provocative Actions: Israeli Soldier Mocks Destroyed Homes in Gaza
An Israeli soldier knocks on the door of a house destroyed by the occupation in Gaza

Watan-An Israeli soldier carried out an action described as provocative towards one of the partially damaged houses due to the continuous airstrikes and shelling by the occupation army in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli soldier mocked the Palestinian family whose home was destroyed in Gaza, and was seen knocking on the door of the demolished house, sarcastically questioning, “Why isn’t anyone opening the door?”

The Palestinian journalist Nizam Al-Mahdawi commented on this scene in a tweet on his account on the platform X, saying: “He knocks on the door of what remains resilient on its own among the ruins, hoping that someone from the residents buried under the rubble will respond to him. This is the army to which most Arab leaders submit and ally with to protect them from Iran.”

The brutal war waged by the occupation army on the Gaza Strip continues, with an expanding policy of demolishing homes through airstrikes targeting the civilian population.

Approximately two-thirds of Gaza’s homes have been demolished

Earlier, the official media office in the Gaza Strip announced that the occupation army had demolished more than 61% of the homes in the sector.

The office stated in a press release that the occupation destroyed more than 305,000 residential units as part of the war it is waging on the Gaza Strip, describing it as a genocidal war.

The office warned countries and international organizations of a humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, given the increasing number of homes and residential units that have been destroyed.

The Israeli war on Gaza continues for the 78th consecutive day. The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported an increase in the toll of the war to 20,057 martyrs and 53,320 injuries since October 7th of last year.
