Into the Depths of Fear: Gaza Tunnels Elicit Phobia Among Israeli Soldiers
A dog advances with the occupation forces during their exploration of a tunnel in Gaza.

Watan-A new video clip, documented amid the ongoing war on Gaza, captures the advance of a trained dog affiliated with the occupying forces during the exploration of a tunnel in Gaza. This advance is driven by the fear of ambushes by the ‘Al-Qassam’ Brigades and their tunnels, which have become a nightmare for Israeli soldiers participating in the ground operation within the besieged enclave.

Israeli forces have been accustomed to using dogs in raids and battles, and several dogs have been killed during these operations in recent weeks, similar to the dog that was killed in a confrontation with a complete Israeli group inside a tunnel, after being lured to it days ago.

The new video, recorded by a camera mounted on the back of a dog belonging to the Israeli ‘Oketz’ unit, shows scenes from inside a tunnel affiliated with the Hamas movement, according to the Israeli army.

The dog in the footage appears to be speeding through a long tunnel that leads to an office furnished with a table and a television. In a subsequent scene, a devastated landscape is revealed.

The trap of Al-Qassam’s tunnels claims the lives of occupation soldiers

Al-Qassam Brigades had, in recent days, released live footage of targeting Israeli military vehicles and soldiers, successfully ambushing them inside the resistance tunnels.

According to the video captured by ‘Watan’ at that time, one of the resistance fighters is seen inside the tunnel, while another voice is heard saying, pointing to bloodstains on the ground, ‘This is their blood, and this is their dog.’ The video also showed the body of a dog affiliated with the Israeli force, killed along with the unit members.

The Al-Qassam member speaking in the video went on to reveal the details of the ambush and luring the occupation soldiers into the tunnel: ‘The special forces were lured into the tunnel, and they were ambushed.’
