Watan-Heart-wrenching footage has circulated of Dr. Basem Al-Najjar, a physician at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital. He was shocked while on duty to learn about the martyrdom of his father, sisters, and several other family members.
The video shows Dr. Al-Najjar weeping intensely inside the hospital, surrounded by fellow doctors who are there to provide support in the face of this tragic event.
The Palestinian doctor appeared bidding farewell to his family members who were martyred in one of the Israeli airstrikes during the ongoing war on Gaza that began on October 7th last year. The wife and children of Dr. Al-Najjar remain under the rubble, as the retrieval of the bodies has been challenging and has not been accomplished yet.

Since October 7th, the occupying army has been waging a destructive war on the Gaza Strip, resulting in more than 20,000 martyrs, most of whom are women and children, and over 52,000 wounded.
In a related context, the government media office in Gaza has called for an international investigation into field executions that the Israeli army is accused of carrying out in the region.
The office stated in a statement that it has collected testimonies indicating that the Israeli occupying army has committed field execution crimes against more than 137 Palestinian civilians in the governorates of Gaza and the North.
The Israeli army has also been accused, especially, of digging large pits and placing dozens of citizens alive in them, then executing them by direct gunfire and burying them with bulldozers.
