Watan-On Monday, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, broadcast live scenes of a well-prepared ambush – a minefield operation – against the Israeli occupation forces infiltrating the Rooster’s Hole area in the Gaza Strip.
As shown in the footage aired by the brigades, the ambush involved detonating a minefield with 4 jeeps carrying the leadership of the occupation forces in the Rooster’s Hole area in the central Gaza Strip.
The video also reveals the targeting of rescue forces affiliated with the occupation that arrived at the scene to evacuate the casualties, indicating that Al-Qassam executed a double ambush against the occupation forces.
The occupation admitted to heavy casualties in its battles with Palestinian resistance in Gaza over the past two days. The Israeli occupation army acknowledged on Monday the injury of 27 soldiers in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, with media sources confirming that Israeli military helicopters have been transporting wounded soldiers from Gaza to Soroka Hospital in Beersheba since the morning.
The Israeli occupation army also admitted today to the death of two soldiers in battles in the northern Gaza Strip last night, bringing the total to 489 soldiers and officers killed since the beginning of the war, including 162 killed since the start of the ground operation in the Strip.
The data from the Al-Qassam Brigades, regularly issued by them, indicate that the numbers of killed and injured in the occupation army are much higher than the figures announced by Israel.
On the other side, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced an increase in the toll of martyrs from the Israeli aggression to 20,674 martyrs and 54,536 wounded since October 7th last year.
The Ministry added that the occupation committed 25 massacres in the sector on Sunday, and that 250 Palestinians were martyred in Israeli airstrikes in the past 24 hours, while 500 others were injured.
