Increase in suicide rates in Israel, along with the prevalence of mental illnesses, prompting calls for a state of emergency

Watan-In a new testament to the horror caused by the Al-Qassam Brigades inside Israel and the significant suffering despite its brutal campaign against the Gaza Strip, the official Israeli media revealed an increase in suicide rates in Israel.

For the 83rd day, the Palestinian resistance, led by the Al-Qassam Brigades, is engaged in fierce battles against the occupation army in the Bureij camp, the Tuffah axis, Khan Yunis, and other areas.

Suicide rates in Israel are on the rise, according to the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation. The Forum of Directors of Psychiatric Hospitals is reportedly urging the declaration of a state of emergency due to the increased rates of suicide and mental illness among Israelis.

This comes after a series of suicide incidents among Jewish settlers since October 7 and the aftermath of the Al-Aqsa Storm operation, as well as the prevalence of illnesses among Israeli occupation soldiers returning from Gaza.

The mentioned forum also described the situation as catastrophic and conveyed a message indicating a surge in mental illness rates and an increase in suicide cases. It pointed out that treatment in Israeli hospitals is being carried out in an inhumane manner.

The Forum of Directors of Psychiatric Hospitals in Israel emphasized that “the time has come to declare a state of emergency.

Al-Qassam and Psychological Warfare Against the Occupation

As part of the psychological warfare conducted by the Palestinian resistance against Israel, the Al-Qassam Brigades published a message on Wednesday to mark the ninth birthday of “Shaul Aron,” a soldier held by the resistance for nine years.

It is worth noting that “Shaul Aron” was captured during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip in mid-2014. In this message, Al-Qassam also sent greetings to the families of the new Israeli prisoners in the hands of the resistance, exacerbating the crisis for Netanyahu.

The visual message from Al-Qassam, broadcast by the military media of the brigades, showed scenes from Aron’s father’s funeral, pictures of his mother holding his photos, and messages written in three languages: Arabic, Hebrew, and English. The messages included, “Shaul… Happy Birthday in captivity,” “My life is no longer a life,” and “To the families of the prisoners, your suffering has not yet begun.”

On Thursday, the spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Ashraf al-Qudra, announced that “on the 82nd day of the brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, Israeli forces committed 16 massacres against entire families, resulting in 195 martyrs and 325 injuries in the past 24 hours.
