Watan-An Israeli report has revealed a plan consisting of three stages aimed at removing the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) from the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Channel 12 stated that the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a “highly secret” report, including recommendations for implementing this move in three stages. The first stage involves disclosing in a comprehensive report an alleged collaboration between UNRWA and the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas.

The second stage may include reducing UNRWA operations in the Palestinian territory and exploring different organizations to provide education and social services to Palestinians in Gaza.

As for the third stage, it will involve transferring all UNRWA tasks to the authority that will govern Gaza after the end of the war.

The report reveals that the plan will be presented to the Israeli Cabinet in the near future.

UNRWA provides assistance, protection, and support to more than 5.9 million Palestinian refugees.

It is worth noting in this context that UNRWA announced on Friday that the Israeli occupation army fired at one of its aid convoys in the Gaza Strip without causing any injuries.

The director of the agency in Gaza, Thomas White, wrote on the X platform: ‘Israeli soldiers fired at an aid convoy as it returned from northern Gaza along a route specified by the Israeli army.’

He added, ‘The leader of our international convoy and his team were unharmed, but one of the vehicles was damaged.
