Watan-The Al Jazeera channel broadcasted new footage on Monday obtained from Gaza, showing the targeting by the Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, of a group of Israeli soldiers taking cover in a house. The footage also showed the capture and destruction of several Israeli tanks.

This comes amid continued intense clashes in the besieged Gaza Strip, with the Qassam Brigades engaging Israeli forces advancing in the “Tuffah and Daraaj” area.

As the Israeli aggression on Gaza entered its 87th day, the Qassam Brigades intensified their operations in the Tuffah neighborhood, the Bureij refugee camp (central Gaza), and Khan Yunis (south), targeting Israeli military vehicles and setting up ambushes against occupation soldiers. They also detonated two tunnels used by Israeli forces.

One of the scenes in the video captured by “Watan” showed a Qassam fighter running quickly through a narrow street, reaching the balcony of a house, and firing a Yasin 105 missile, chanting, “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful… I did not throw when I threw, but Allah threw.”

Then, the heroic Qassam fighter fires the missile towards a tank stationed in an empty area amidst abandoned buildings, turning it into a mass of flames within seconds.

According to the new footage, another resistant fighter targets a tank from a window, chanting: “Allahu Akbar, and thanks be to Allah,” transforming it into a previous fate of a “blazing mass.”

Additionally, a member of the Qassam Brigades appears in another scene, moving between the windows of several houses and directing a Yasin 105 missile towards a tank just a few meters away, easily turning it into prey. Another resistant targets a tank that appeared among dense bushes in front of an abandoned building.

In another scene, three Israeli soldiers are seen through a window of a house, and a Qassam fighter opens fire on them, responding with successive gunfire.

The Qassam Brigades had confirmed in a statement that they targeted 26 Israeli vehicles infiltrating the neighborhoods of Daraj and Tuffah in the city of Gaza in the past 48 hours.

The Palestinian resistance has intensified its targeting of the Israeli army in the midst of the Gaza Strip since Monday morning.
