Watan-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement in Palestine, broadcasted new footage claiming to depict clashes and targeting of Israeli military vehicles advancing east of the “Tuffah and Daraj” neighborhoods in Gaza City.
One of the scenes captured by “Watan” shows a fighter ascending a metal ladder placed inside a tunnel. After emerging, he is seen sneaking alongside a dirt mound and then entering a field planted with crops.
Targeting, clashes, and new battles for Al-Qassam
A target is identified at a distance with a red inverted triangle, representing a military vehicle next to a house. The resistance fighter is observed firing a Yassin 105 missile over the hill. Another voice is heard advising him to “trust in God,” and with the chants of “Allahu Akbar,” the target turns into a blazing mass.
Another scene shows Israeli soldiers walking in what appears to be an industrial area. Two of them are pinpointed, and in an instant, they are simultaneously targeted. An Israeli vehicle is also targeted with a Yassin 105 shell, followed by clashes with occupation forces.
Ambulances and enemy aircraft are seen arriving to evacuate the dead and wounded from the scene. A large cloud of black smoke emerges from the targeted area, accompanied by burnt military vehicles.
Targeting an Israeli force
The Al-Qassam Brigades had announced on Thursday the targeting of a special Israeli force “entrenched” in a residential building north of Gaza Strip, resulting in casualties.
In a series of statements on the “Telegram” platform reported by Palestinian media, the Brigades stated that their fighters engaged with an Israeli force consisting of 12 soldiers, and “eliminated 4 soldiers at point-blank range near the Eastern Cemetery, east of Jabalia, north of Gaza Strip.”
