Divine Calling: A Father’s Account of Martyrdom and Spiritual Vision in Gaza

Watan-A Palestinian citizen spoke with poignant words about the martyrdom of his son in the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, revealing a vision he received from the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him.

The Palestinian citizen said: “Allah gave us and took from us in His path. We are content with the decree of Allah, and we consider it in the way of Allah.”

He added that his son was with him at the Indonesian hospital while he was shrouding one of the martyrs, and he told him that he wished to be a martyr like him, explaining that he named his son Abdul Hameed as an indication that Allah is the Praiseworthy, and a reference to Sultan Abdul Hamid because he did not abandon his homeland.

Vision of the martyr He recounted the details of the vision that came to his son: “He told me, ‘Father, I saw myself calling the Adhan in Al-Aqsa, and the Prophet, peace be upon him, was giving me the microphone and telling me to call the Adhan in Al-Aqsa.'”

He clarified that he saw his son as a leader, not even as a soldier, indicating that he responded to his son saying, “God willing, Al-Aqsa will be opened.” He noted that his son was martyred in the current war on Gaza.

Commenting on his son’s martyrdom, he said: “We are content with Allah, and we are all in the path of Allah.”

Toll of martyrs in the war on Gaza

As of February 6th, the toll of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip has risen to 27,585 martyrs and 66,978 injuries since October 7th of the previous year.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that there are still victims under the rubble and in the streets, with the occupation preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
