Qassam Brigades Strike: Israeli Officer Sniped in Gaza
Watan-The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, broadcasted on Wednesday evening scenes of sniping an officer from the Israeli occupation army in the advancement axis in the universities area west of Gaza City.
The footage shows the officer alongside another soldier supervising the demolition of lands and properties belonging to Palestinians in the area.
A voice of one of the Qassam resistance fighters can be heard saying to the sniper, “Let’s be patient for a bit, let them feel secure,” before the armed sniper surprises the officer with a deadly bullet from the Qassam rifle, hitting him in the back and penetrating the bulletproof vest he was wearing.
As soon as he was hit, the Israeli officer fell dead, while the other soldier who was with him fled immediately.
The Qassam Brigades also announced the success of their fighters in sniping another soldier near the Industry Junction in Gaza City.
In a qualitative operation, the Qassam Brigades announced the success of their fighters and the Al-Quds Brigades in targeting a special Israeli force consisting of 10 soldiers entrenched inside a house in Block “J” west of Khan Younis City with two anti-personnel shells, engaging them with automatic weapons, resulting in one dead and one injured.
Earlier today, Wednesday, the Qassam fighters managed to target a group of occupation soldiers holed up in a house in Block “J” west of Khan Younis City with a “TBG” anti-fortification shell followed by an anti-personnel shell, confirming casualties and hearing the soldiers’ screams.
Meanwhile, the Qassam Brigades targeted an Israeli Zionist tank of the “Merkava” type and a military bulldozer of the “D9” type with “Yassin 105” shells in the vicinity of the Friends of the Patient Hospital west of Gaza City.
A Zionist “Merkava 4” tank was targeted with a “Tandem” shell west of the Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City.
The Qassam Brigades, along with the resistance factions in the Gaza Strip, continue on the 124th day of the war on Gaza to engage in fierce battles with the occupation army in the advancement axes in the Gaza Strip, especially in Khan Younis City, where the occupation army is currently concentrating its attack, amidst threats of launching another attack on Rafah City.
In this context, the Hamas movement stated that it has delivered its response to the ceasefire framework agreement in Gaza after consultation with the resistance factions.
